STEP ONE Register on The Property Connectors web site. We will call you to set up a time to meet to discuss your needs.

STEP TWO You will have the opportunity to speak with our mortgage counsellor, Mary Chmiel, to determine how much you can afford. She will ask you questions about your salary and other income, how long you have been at your job and any other debts you might have (credit cards, car loan). She will need to see your Notice of Assessment from the previous year’s income taxes and will eventually need a letter from your employer, confirming your salary. This will determine the amount of mortgage you qualify for and how much you have on hand for down payment and closing costs.

STEP THREE Next you can meet with Darlene Elder to determine your needs, so she is aware of the type of person or persons who would be suitable for you to share with. There may already be someone registered with The Property Connectors that would make a good fit!

STEP FOUR Once you have found your partner, you will then both meet with our Real Estate Sales Representative and together you will determine what your housing needs are. You will both be given a copy of a Preliminary Commitment Agreement to review. If you both are agreeable to continuing, Darlene will locate properties that are suitable and she will take you to view them. Once you have found a home that works for you, you will enter into an Offer to Purchase. Once your offer is accepted, you will meet with the lawyer to go over the terms of your agreement.
